A Craven’s Courage

The power of a direct decision is that it carves up cowardice.

Don’t worry about being brave, being bold is a short-term scare

Far more frightening to hold back

Suffering in silence

Letting so many thoughts flow while real possibilities dwindle

Be a coward, be scared enough to take the jump

You will fall sometimes

But hitting the ground is better than hanging off the edge

And who knows? More often than not going for it gives you gifts

Even if the reward is earth or a firm answer

Cold and true memories are better to sleep with at night

Compared to sleeping with the needle stings of indecision.

Be brave, and all the best.

J.W.H. Hobbs.

Up, hear the odd calls It may be a burble, or the scatter of animal chatter Press your fingers into tools or bricks forming words While grey, then black, then still skies spool ahead.   By J.W.H. Hobb

Return to Read

I found this week how interesting it was seeing another person’s approach to an academic paper. There’s guideline suggestions, a CASP paper at the ready, and the normal read is surveying the terrain.

Back of the Throat

Mucal membranes block the throat We lose our air and start to choke With regularity, in dark times Full function is hard to find   It will pass, or it will not Each wound, bound and unsleeved thought
