Acquaintance

Walk one way

A face, not quite forgotten

Not even known

May have been another on the list

But offer your help

Feel a fool or not

And whether you or others

Ever get praise for their speech

That once-stranger reaches out again

And what are all relationships

But awkward pebbles bounced across a silent sea?
